Free Screening Tools

Online screening tools are a great first step for people who suspect or wonder if they are on the spectrum. These tools can be beneficial in self-identification or may inform your decision to pursue a formal diagnosis.

There are several sites available that offer these screening tools. Embrace Autism has the most options in one place and provides information about the screeners as well as other great resources. Plus it’s run by a neurodivergent team based out of Canada! Screening questionnaires only take a few minutes to complete and you can see your results right away. We hope these results can be insightful for you.

In addition to the autism screens, the site also offers a couple of ADHD screeners available for you to take online. The ASRS-5 is a good, short screening tool but please note (as with all screens), it isn’t a comprehensive measure.
